Admin chat

Bind a private admin group for quarantine evidence and optional report cards.

An admin chat is a separate Telegram group where your team reviews quarantine evidence (and optionally reports) without cluttering the managed group. Without a binding, Lucy falls back to the guild hall for group cards.

Bind a group admin chat

  1. Add Lucy to both the managed group and the private admin group.
  2. In the managed group, as an admin, run /adminchat.
  3. Within 10 minutes, in the admin group, run the shown /claim CODE as the same admin who issued the code.
  4. Optional: under Moderation in /settings, keep Reports on admin chat (default) so report cards follow the same path.

Guild hall codes

Guild owners can run /adminchat in DM to issue a G… code. Claiming that code in a destination group binds the shared guild hall. Member groups without their own admin chat inherit the hall for group-scoped cards. See Guilds.

What lands there

Content Behavior
Quarantine evidence Always prefers the bound admin chat when present
Report cards Only when report destination is admin_chat
In-group reports When destination is in_place, cards stay in the managed group

Evidence DMs

In addition to the bound admin chat (or guild hall), Lucy DMs quarantine evidence to every human admin who has started her. Each admin controls their own DMs with /notifications in Lucy’s DM; turning them off never affects the admin chat, the guild hall, or the mini app inbox.

Fallback without binding

Routing for quarantine (and for reports set to admin chat):

  1. Group’s bound admin chat
  2. Membership guild hall

Quarantine evidence also fans out to admin DMs (per-admin, toggleable with /notifications).

Binding never replaces local group ownership of verdicts: only admins of the origin group can press Ban, Release, Watch, or Unban on that group’s cards.
